The State Bar of Wisconsin is a professional legal organization to which all practicing Wisconsin attorneys are required to belong. The goal of the State Bar is to regulate ethical practice among Wisconsin lawyers and to promote and reward volunteerism. Glorily A. Founded in 1946, AILA is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization that provides its members with continuing legal education, the latest information, professional services, and expertise through over 50 national liaison committees with the U.S. government agencies in charge of adjudicating immigration cases. Attorney Lopez has been a member of AILA since 2001. She is the Chair of the AILA Wisconsin Chapter and also serves as a mentor to other immigration lawyers nationwide.See more.

The National Immigration Project is a progressive source of advocacy-oriented legal support on immigrant rights issues. Over the past few decades, the National Immigration Project has focused on vital immigration issues such as the rights of political refugees seeking asylum in the U.S., the rights of non-citizens in the U.S., and immigrant survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Attorney Lopez has been a member of the National Immigration Project since 2001. As a result of her membership in the National Immigration Project, Lopez Law Group has access to updated information on topics relating to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and other forms of abuse relief available to immigrants. The Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyer’s Association is an organization dedicated to providing guidance on issues of interest to the Hispanic community on local and national levels and to advancing the professional development of its members. Attorney Lopez served on WHLA’s Board of Governors from 2005 to 2007 and maintains active membership in this association up to the present.
